About our meals

Our meals offer an exciting choice of healthy, fresh food at excellent value and are provided by Doncaster Schools Catering, Doncaster Council. We believe that school meals represent the best option in terms of contributing to a healthy diet and value for money. All our menus comply with current food and nutritional standards. 

We offer a menu which gives the children a choice each of day a hot meal, sandwich or jacket potato.  We also provide special menus for young people from different ethnic groups and where young people need to follow a special diet as recommended by a doctor or hospital, we can make suitable arrangements. Since September 2006, our pork has been locally reared at Marr Grange. 

• You can have school dinners all week or select the days you would like a school dinner.
• All children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are currently entitled to receive a free school meal through the 'Universal Infant Free School Meals' Scheme.
• A school meal is also available for all  Key Stage 2 pupils to purchase.
• Payments for school meals for pupils in Key Stage 2 must be paid online via ParentPay. All School meals MUST be paid for in advance of meals being taken.
• The cost of a school meal is £3.00 per day. Meals cancelled after 10.30am will be charged at the full rate.
• If you are experiencing financial difficulties paying for your child's school meals, please contact the school office for advice and support.
• Our school Governing body have agreed that a child's dinner money debt will not be allowed to exceed £9.00. If the debt is not cleared we will contact you to remind you that unless payment is made immediately, then your child must be provided with a home packed lunch.
