Sacramental Preparation

First Holy Communion

On Saturday, six of our wonderful children celebrated a very special moment in their faith journey as they made their First Holy Communion at our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stainfoth. Surrounded by family, friends, and the parish community, they received the Eucharist for the first time with reverence and joy. We congratulate them on this important step and pray that they continue to grow in faith, love, and grace.

First Holy Communion

Children at Holy Family are encouraged to be personal examples of the life of God within us all. They are reminded to attend mass and the sacraments. 

 

The details for preparation programmes for the First Holy Communion and First Reconciliation 2024-2025 are provided below. 

 

Our Lady Of The Assumption - Stainforth

This preparation programme is for children in Year 3 and above.

 

St Joseph and St Nicholas - Moorends

This preparation programme is for children in Year 3 and above.

 

If you wish for your child/ren to be involved, please ask for Carol at Church and you will be signed posted in the right direction. Please also speak to Ms. McFadden at school, if you require any assistance regarding this.
