FS1 - Remote Learning Timetable

Ash Wednesday

The nursery children have been learning about the meaning of Ash Wednesday and why it is an important time in the Church’s year. We talked about how Lent is a special season to grow closer to God through prayer, kindness, and helping others.

The children thoughtfully reflected on what they could do during Lent to strengthen their relationship with God. Together, we shared ideas about being kind — using gentle hands, sharing with our friends, helping at home, and including others in our play. The children reverently received ashes on their foreheads to mark the beginning of Lent.

Stay and Play - Session 4 - Reading

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our latest Stay and Play session, where we celebrated the joy and importance of reading. It was wonderful to share this experience with you, and we hope you all enjoyed the session as much as we did.

The children have shared things they feel proud of, such as putting on their coats by themselves, eating all their sandwiches, or trying something new. They created their own Proud Medals to celebrate these wonderful achievements and made beautiful Proud Clouds using different art materials to express their feelings.
