Meet the Readership Team!

The Readership Team applied for their job role, made a presentation to their class and then had an interview with Miss Wainwright. 

Who are Readership Team members?

Readership Team members love to read, read different genres and authors. They enjoy sharing books and stories with others, as well as being creative. Readership Team members promote reading across school, and they are keen to promote reading for pleasure in different ways. 

What are Readership Team members responsibilities?

  • Organise a range of book themed activities across the school
  • keep our school and class libraries up to date with new authors and books
  • Help organise author visits
  • Share book recommendations
  • Lead book fairs
  • Help organise visits to our local libraries
  • Organise book swap.

Book swap is every Friday afternoon, so remember to bring in a book from home to swap with a book from the Book Swap shelf.
